Rick Rappe's Vintage Bows - Volumes 1, 2, and 3 |
Vintage Bows I, II, and III are required reading for any vintage bow enthusiast.
It has been a pleasure to help with this book. Rick asked me to write the section on Shakespeare / Root bows, it was a privilege to be a part of the project and I worked closely with Ernie Root's son, Larry Root, (an amazing guy). Right now, the book is available as a PDF download. It is a pretty big file, but the price is right- $5.99.
IT IS NOW AVAILABLE ON EBAY

Michael Patrick Rappe:
"It's taken 2 years, but just tonight I got what I hope is the final version of Vintage Bows III ready to print. Single copy "print on demand" costs prevent offering the interior photos of bows, catalog pages, and such in color, so I also made it available as a download in .pdf as there are over 100 color photos to view. (Far too many and from different file types to turn into a full EPUB, sorry)
I know little about Facebook promotion, as the two earlier volumes sell only on e-Bay, but as Lulu.com confirmed print and .pdf availability they asked if I wanted to do a FB alert? Well, ok. Here it is. There is new info on Brownings including model specs and years built. I was able to glean similar info on the cataloged Ben Pearsons, Larry Vienneau did the same for Roots and Shakespeares. There are some real surprises. Later's Baby, now I have to update my web page and E-bay listings...always a challenge for this geezer."
